Mirfa International Power & Water Company (MIPCO) is a large‑scale gas‑fired cogeneration facility that plays a critical role in supporting Abu Dhabi’s power and water requirements. The project is designed around high‑efficiency combined‑cycle generation, enabling the simultaneous production of electricity and desalinated water from a single integrated system.
Operational since 2017, Mirfa represents a cornerstone of Abu Dhabi’s utility infrastructure, delivering reliable baseload power and water while optimising fuel use and operational efficiency.
