Overview
Mirfa 2 is a reverse‑osmosis (RO) water desalination plant that strengthens Abu Dhabi’s long‑term water security through large‑scale, efficient desalination capacity. The project supports the Emirate’s growing water needs by delivering a reliable and sustainable supply of potable water using advanced RO technology.
Completed in 2026 and now operational, Mirfa 2 reflects ENGIE’s continued role in developing critical water infrastructure in partnership with TAQA. The project contributes to resilient water systems while supporting efficient operations through a dedicated joint operations and maintenance structure.
