Overview

Fujairah 2 is a flagship large‑scale cogeneration asset and one of the UAE’s most critical power and water infrastructure projects, underpinning energy and water security in the northern emirates. Operated as an integrated Independent Water and Power Project (IWPP), the plant combines high‑efficiency combined‑cycle gas turbine (CCGT) technology with multi‑stage flash (MSF) desalination to deliver reliable baseload electricity and potable water at scale.
