On November 26th, Paulo Almirante, ENGIE Executive Vice President and Group Chief Operating Officer, inaugurated the ENGIE office in Saudi Arabia, located at Business Gate in Riyadh. Earlier this year, the Group had also appointed Turki Alshehri, former Director General of the Saudi Renewable Energy Development Program Office, to be its new Chief Executive Officer in Saudi Arabia.

‘This event shows our Group’s commitment to support Saudi Arabia in the implementation of Vision 2030. Our new office will allow our local team to bring ENGIE’s expertise and solutions to contribute to the Kingdom’s ambitious transformation.’ commented Paulo Almirante.

‘As a long-term positive energy partner and investor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ENGIE has always been inspired by the bold and visionary strategies of the Kingdom. The inauguration of our office in Riyadh illustrates ENGIE’s ambitions to ensure a tighter presence and further integrate the Group’s global experience to meeting the Kingdom’s objectives.’, added Turki Alshehri.
