ENGIE relocates its headquarters to Expo City Dubai to welcome a Sustainable Future

We are thrilled to announce that from September 2023, ENGIE’s Africa, Middle East, and Asia (AMEA) headquarters will be relocated to Expo City Dubai. This significant move demonstrates our commitment to achieving our goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2045 and creating a better tomorrow.

By relocating our headquarters to the Sustainability District in Expo City Dubai, we are aligning ourselves with Expo’s vision of “Creating a Greener Tomorrow.” With its sustainable infrastructure and commitment to environmental stewardship, Expo City Dubai perfectly aligns with our ethos to “walk the talk” and lead the way towards a sustainable future.

Expo City Dubai is the pioneering legacy of Expo 2020 Dubai, and we are honored to have been chosen as partners. Our presence as tenants sends a positive signal to our stakeholders, showcasing our support for the UAE’s sustainable vision for the future. This step also gives ENGIE an opportunity to unite its businesses and subsidiaries to become ‘ONE ENGIE’. The comprehensive amenities and superb accessibility provided by Expo City Dubai greatly reinforced our decision to relocate our office. Our new low-rise building, designed with high safety and sustainability standards, will become a source of pride for ENGIE. The location is well-serviced by large highways as well as the Dubai metro, providing ease of access for our employees and visitors. With ample free parking, and an entire building exclusively dedicated to ENGIE, our new headquarters are poised to cultivate a strong sense of togetherness and community among our team members.

Expo City Dubai is also set to become the hub for major UAE events, including the upcoming COP28. Being in close proximity to such critical gatherings ensures that ENGIE remains at the forefront of action and innovation in the sustainability space.
